In your mind and heart nurture non-violence. In the strong presence of non-violent people, violence drops – Sri Sri

Q: Guruji, How to utilize this life properly? I feel like I have wasted twenty seven years of my life. I want to be useful now.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: Well, it is a very good realization. You want to be useful, that is a very good intention.
So first the realization comes, ‘I have wasted’, and then the resolution comes, ‘I want to be useful’, and then nothing stops you. Go ahead, it is very good.
But there is no point in regretting the past. You should not sit and keep regretting. Move on in the future because you have learnt something very valuable to life in the past through all the mistakes.

Just look back and see – as a child, what did you want to become? An engine driver? Nowadays children have many toys. Around 3—4 years ago, the only thing a child wanted to be was an engine-driver or a pilot. Many things that you desired you have stopped liking them now. The Divine will give what is best for you. Move ahead with that faith. If you have a desire, Pray – Let me get this or something better – Sri Sri

Q: I get disturbed sleep.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: Meditate, Meditate. Before going to bed listen to bhajans.

Trust in yourself. Have faith in your choice of actions and the path you would be following. If you don’t trust yourself, how can you trust the Master? It is enough to have faith in yourself. A Master or a Guru does not remove the doubt, but He creates more doubt. The more you burn in the fire of doubt, the more strong you come out to be. Truth is never afraid of doubt, and truth can never hide – Sri Sri

Q: There are so many different paths. How do I know that I am at the right path?
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: Doubt is always about the positive. When you are on a path and you like it, suddenly you have a doubt.

Healing happens! When the energy is high and when there is love, healing automatically happens – Sri Sri

Q: Why should I not watch horror movies?
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: What do you think, do u get nightmares? Impact of horror movies stays for a long time, so it is better to avoid.
